My House, My Vessel presents a meditation on the memory of home, the desire to preserve it, and the inevitable reality of abandonment. At its core, the narrative explores the tension between what the home once was, what it is, and what it could be. The house is depicted as a symbol of memory, identity, and longing, presenting a nuanced dialogue between personal experiences and universal themes through a variety of media—poems, sculptures, found objects, video and photography.
This exhibition took place at ANTECÂMARA RÁDIO E GALERIA in Lisbon, Portugal, from March 5th to 13th, 2025, and was curated by Alberto Agüero Blanco.

The video shows a decaying summer house, called Cerrillos, that once belonged to my family. Projected in a small format that requires viewers to crouch down to watch, it evokes both intimacy and vulnerability. The house anchors the exhibition in a tangible yet ephemeral memory, setting the stage for the overarching narrative of loss and idealization.

Although these "ruins" might seem like a negative or discouraging vision of home compared to the rest of the works, they actually represent that silent space where one can be alone with oneself in complete solitude. They are places of introspection and self-awareness, spaces that invite nihilism, where the pressure of everyday life dissolves, and one is able to inhabit the continuous present.
