"Rhythms: A Night at Argo16, Venice" (2022) is a series of drawings made while listening to the Alberto Vianello Quartet.
My hand attempts to follow the sound as it unfolds, responding to multiple rhythms, gestures, and interactions at once. Just as the musicians react to one another in real time, I draw instinctively, allowing marks to emerge directly from listening rather than conscious decision-making.
These drawings are not representations of the performance but traces of an encounter with it, an attempt to translate the energy, movement, and improvisational nature of jazz into visual form.
**All drawings were made in a sketchbook measuring 20 × 13 cm.**

Whenever I take public transport, I draw the people around me. Buses and trains can easily fade into the background of daily routine, becoming anonymous, grey spaces. Drawing helps me pay attention to this environment and discover that it is, in fact, full of surprises.
It allows me to recognize the beauty in each person I encounter. Remembering them through my drawings transforms public transport into a place of connection and turns an ordinary journey into an aesthetic experience.
I call this series "Passengers" (ongoing) The drawings are usually made in small sketchbooks measuring around 14 × 9 cm.
